Emulating Legends ZA

Quick Note

This guide is made for the Eden emulator, Citron is rather similar to Eden and will likely also work.

Ryujinx is unlikely to work with this guide and I can't help you with it.

What You Need

Eden Emulator

Switch Keys + Firmware

Pokemon Legends ZA Rom

Windows Computer

Can be downloaded from their website eden-emu.dev.

Can be dumped from a personal switch or found online.

Can be dumped from a personal copy of the game or found online.

I don't have a Mac or Linux computer and thus can't confirm it'll work on them.

Setting Up Your Emulator

Upon installing your emulator make sure that you also install the keys and firmware for it!

It is generally recommended to use the most recent firmware and keys, I'm using version 20.5.0 for both personally. You want to install the keys via a single file named prod.keys and the firmware from a folder filled with multiple numbered files.

You then want to click the large button that says "Add New Game Directory", this will open up your file explorer to select a folder of your choosing. This folder can be pretty much anywhere but do just make sure your game is actually located in said folder.

You will also want to make sure your game is a .nsp file to properly work.

If everything went correctly you should now have the file path for the folder you chose displayed and the Legends ZA rom below it.

Legends ZA does not run well out of the box so we will need to modify some settings.
